She was predeceased by: her husband Mervin Singer; her parents, Andrew McCarthy and Teresa; her brothers, Sean, Christopher, Thomas, Andrew and Gerard McCarthy; and her brothers-in-law, Sidney and Fred Singer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ellen Barnes Pfiffner (Tim), Kathleen Gaertner, Bink Gaertner, Pattie Simcic (Michael Wolfe), Laurie Singer and Mollie Sachs; her grandchildren, Megan McKenzie (Rich), Kelly Pfiffner (Stephen Knowles), Erin Gaertner, Mary-Kate Grant, Lisa Sachs and Aaron Sachs; her great grandchildren, Adelley MaryTess McKenzie and Peyton McCarthy Grant; her siblings, James McCarthy (late Susan) and Catherine Josephine Farrance (late Derrick); her sisters-in-law, Christina McCarthy, Bobbie Singer and Betsy Singer; Derek, Nicole McDowell, Maebelle and Holden.
