With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin R. Nickell of McArthur, Ohio, born in Vinton, Ohio, who passed away on December 10, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Henry Nickell and Ruth Irene Craig Nickell; his brother Henry Nickell; and his pets, Chloe and Aries.

He is survived by : his wife Linda Brown Nickell; his children, Joey Nickell (Michelle), Melissa Hammond (Steve) and Tammy Russ (Curtis); his siblings, David Nickell (Jeni), Judy Long (Phil) and Marty Kruger (Fred); and his uncle Joe Pattison. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
