He was predeceased by : his parents, Howard Shufelt and Iola Shufelt (Bachman); his brother-in-law Bill Wiles; and his son-in-law Jerry Sweinhagen. He is survived by : his wife Dorothy "Dot" Hines; his daughters, Karen Sweinhagen and Deb Rowe (Denny); his grandchildren, Cliff Sweinhagen (Diane) and Jessica Meehan (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Alayna, Derrick and Lillian; and his sister Maxine Wiles.

Memorial donations may be directed to CHP Defiance Inpatient Hospice or a charity of your choice.
