He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Kane and Deloris Kane (Zimmerman); his daughter Julie Kane; and his brother-in-law L. J. Schuster. He is survived by: his son Aaron Kane (Jill); his grandchildren, Maddie Haake (Justin), Noah Korak, Mason Kane, Kenzie Kane and Brady Kane; his great grandchild Emilia Haake; and his sisters, Sharon Schuster and Patricia Sherman (Gary).
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the McClure American Legion, Damascus Township Fire and Rescue, or Hospice of Northwest Ohio – Perrysburg, OH.
