He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Latta and Ruth Latta (Rader); his daughter Karen Vowell; and his siblings, Lucy, Florence, Walter and Wayne.
He is survived by: his sons, Charles Latta of McComb and Joe Latta (Bonny) of McComb; his grandchildren, Andy Latta (Cari), Aaron Latta (Sarah), Nick Latta (Tracy), Ashley Brown (Jon) and Alexa Mrohen (Mike); his son-in-law Glenn Vowell; and his stepgrandchildren, Jeff Oates (Erika) and Vicki Catalano. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
