He was predeceased by: his parents, Monna Pearl Mapes and Myron Guy Mapes; his sisters, Doris Mapes (Clark), Margerie Mapes (Oglesbee), Diane Mapes (Harden) and Marlene Mapes (Harden); and his wife Barbara Ann Mapes (Rader).
He is survived by: his son Jerry M. Mapes; his daughter-in-law Chanda Mapes; and his granddaughters, Antonia Pearl Mapes and Jaden Elizabeth Mapes.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hanneman Funeral Home - McComb (370 S Park Dr, McComb, OH 45858). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
