It is with sadness that the passing of Alice Allene Barnes (McConnelsville, Ohio) is shared. Alice, born on August 20, 1933, passed away on October 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert R. Marshall and Belva Marshall (Boney); her husband Ray; and her sisters, Ina Belle Barnes and Mavis Manning.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Hopkins (Jim) of Coshocton Ohio, Robert Barnes (Carolyn) of Pickerington and Rick Barnes of Cleveland, Ohio.; her brother John Marshall (Sherry); her daughter-in-law Jean Kirkbride of McConnelsville, Ohio.; her grandchildren, Andrea Hopkins of Chicago, Monica Raugei (Romeo) of Brooklyn, Jessica Akers (Andrew) of Coshocton, Nicholas Barnes of McConnelsville and Vicky Swiger (Kevin) of Pickerington, Ohio.; and her great grandchildren, Lainey, Lauren, Evan Akers, Zechiah, Isabella, R. J. Barnes, Julian Raugei, Augusta, Brianna and Carson Swiger. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and several cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McKendree Church (98 N 10th St, McConnelsville, OH 43756). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
