He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar L. Hampton Sr. and Ruth E. Judson Hampton; and his brothers, David and Gary Hampton. He is survived by: his son Edgar L. Hampton III (Terri) of Texas; his grandchildren, Alexis, Destiny, Tony, Cameron, Samuel, Austin and Charlie; his sisters, Debbie Newburn (Lee) of Chesterhill, Linda Campbell (Randy Sr.) of McConnelsville and Gina Khan (Anees) of Circleville; and his sister-in-law Dee Hampton of Lancaster. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Morrison Funeral Chapel (6525 S State Rte 78, Glouster, OH 45732). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Morrison Funeral Chapel, 6525 State Route 78, Glouster, Ohio 45732, to assist with final expenses.
