It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frieda M. Scott of McConnelsville, Ohio, born in Marietta, Ohio, who passed away on March 10, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Chester Newburn and Mary Shilling Newburn; her husband Carlos Scott; her son Terry Scott; and her brother Curtis Newburn.

She is survived by : her children, Tony Scott of New Lexington and Linda Woodyard of Reynoldsburg; her granddaughter Victoria Scott; and her great grandchildren, Noah and Eva Frazier.
