She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Wagner and Grace Wagner (Redfox); and her husband Paul William "Bill" Bour.

Cora worked as a nurse for many years and later for the Seneca County Sheriff's office, the Seneca County Board of Elections, American Cancer Society, and managed the Seneca County Fair.
