He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ledwedge and Mary Ledwedge (Colatruglio). He is survived by: his wife Leora Byrne of McCutchenville; his sons, Robert Ledwedge (Joan) of Tiffin, Patrick Ledwedge Jr. of Tiffin, Michael Ledwedge (Christi) of Le Mesa, CA and Joseph Ledwedge (Laura) of Sellersburg, IN; his stepsons, Michael Byrne (Shannon) of Tiffin and Gregory Byrne (Caroline Price) of Fremont; his sisters, Mary "Katie" Goshe (Robert) of Fostoria, Fran Ritzler (David) of Findlay and Joanie Kagy (William) of Plain City; and his great grandchild Willow. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; one step great grandson.
As someone who loved to teach young people, he will now be teaching by donating his body to the Anatomy Department of Ohio State.
