He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Copas and Etta Copas (Rigsby); and his sister Stephanie Lacey. He is survived by: his son Landon Copas; his partner Sandy Copas; his close friend Linus Guntle; his nephew Zachary Sexton; his cousins, Steve "Bird" Copas, Julie Copas and Arnold Brickey; and his friends, Tim, Brenda Berry and Rick Toliver. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
