He is survived by: his children, LeAnn Hackworth of Sciotoville, Fynnlea Hewitt of Portsmouth, Corey Ryan Hackworth of McDermott and Anna Hackworth of McDermott; and his sister Mary Kathryn Auer (Stephen) of Cincinnati. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
