He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Phillips and Meleese Knauff Phillips of West Portsmouth; and his children, Michael "Mick" Phillips and Dreama Piatt. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Barber Phillips; his sister Dru Elaine Phillips of Corpus Christi; his son Rick Phillips (Lois); his grandchildren, Tyson, Kyle Phillips (Drew), Drew Piatt, Michael Webster (Christy), Joel Webster (Rhonda) and Mandi Barnett (Bobby); his great grandchildren, Tori Queen (Tanner), Cameron, Creed, Myles, Sophie, Ian Phillips, Hannah, Natalie, Makenna Webster, Sloan, Isaiah and TJ Piatt; and his sister-in-law Debbie Barber (CJ Piatt).
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home (1310 3rd St, West Portsmouth, OH 45663). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family's favorite charity is SOMC Hospice.
