He was predeceased by: his parents, Joel and Mae; his grandmother Van Hoose; his son Kevin Estep; his siblings, Billy Estep and Betty; and his brother-in-law Dave Rodgers.

He is survived by: his nephew-in-law Randy; his nieces, Kay Butz, Leah Castle, Lydia Beatty (Mitch) and Cari Westfall (J. D.); his nephew Jeff Rodgers (Michelle); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Taylor, Elizabeth, Rachel, Mason, Leela and Kaecyn; his cousin Wilma Hartley; and his close friend Bill Howell. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the animal shelter of the donor's choice.
