He was predeceased by: his parents, James Otis and Betty Ilene Herron Sr. (Shelpman); his daughter Nina Herron; and his brother John Herron. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Herron; his children, Nichole Shaffer (George), Christopher Herron, Carl Herron and Jeremiah Herron (Amanda); his stepdaughter Lyvinda; his granddaughter Jessica (Skyler Spellman); and his siblings, Mark, Michael, Timothy, Tammy Wynn and Pamela Turner. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
