He was predeceased by : his parents, Charlie Cooper and Stella Cooper (Roby). He is survived by : his children, Amanda Nash (Rob), Lindsay Foss (Chris) and Cameron Cooper; his grandchildren, Scarlett, Grayson and Haddie; and his sisters, Connie Kayser (Phil) and Phyllis Kerber (Steve). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
