Alvin R. Clapp Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alvin R. Clapp in Medina, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Alvin may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Alvin touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Avery Clapp and Margaret Clapp (Dutt); and his brother Edward. He is survived by: his wife Doris Simon; his sons, Jeffrey Clapp (Jami) of Aiken, SC and Steve Clapp of Chatham; and his grandsons, Trent and Nick.
