It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce Lyn Schlauch of Medina, Ohio, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on January 16, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Bruce shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Bruce farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Schlauch and Eileen Schlauch (Harter); and his siblings, Carol (Ed Pamer) and Wayne Schlauch. He is survived by: his sons, Kevin (Monica McMullen) of Westfield Center and Andy Schlauch of Lodi; his grandchildren, Connor (Emma McMullen), Kelly McMullen and Rhett McMullen; his siblings, Clifford Schlauch, Kathy (Terry Leedy) and Robin Baxter; his sister-in-law Carol Schlauch; and his former wife Sandy Schlauch. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
