With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cheryl Ann Hammers of Medina, Ohio, who passed away on December 9, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Cheryl Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Cheryl Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Zadrozny and Lorraine Zadrozny; and her brother Edward Zadrozny. She is survived by: her husband Wells Hammers; her daughter Lanette Hinkle (Gary); her grandchildren, Justin and Sarah; and her sisters, Linda Morgan and Sandy Colabrese. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Waite Funeral Homes - Medina Chapel (765 N Court St, Medina, OH 44256). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (606 E Washington St, Medina, OH 44256).
