He was predeceased by : his parents, Oscar H. Dorsey and Emily Z. Dorsey (Aird). He is survived by : his wife Susan Marie Dorsey (Henschel); his children, Dean "DJ" Dorsey Jr. (Mary), Kerie Masaitis (Chris), Daniel Genard (Giovanna) and Dustin Genard (Maria); his grandchildren, Noah, Aubree Dorsey, Alex and Cameron Genard; his close friend Barkley; and his siblings, Kip Dorsey (Jeanne) and Cheryl Mostyok (Tom).
