He was predeceased by: his parents, David Hoobler and Barbara Hoobler (Byrd). He is survived by: his sister Jean Chewning (Dwight); his nephews, Robert Dietrich (Duyen), Scott Dietrich and Richard Dietrich (Marie); his niece Alena Chewning (Spencer Zickefoose); his great-nephews, Adam Dietrich (Destinee), Hunter Dietrich and Nolan Dietrich; and his close friend Susan Mullins.
