He was predeceased by: his parents, George V. Kappa and Dorothy T. Kappa (Taverner). He is survived by: his wife Virginia A. Kappa; his sons, Brian Thomas Kappa and Adam Scott Kappa (Kristin); and his grandsons, Nathan and Ethan.
