We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Helen R. Opperman in Medina, Ohio. Family and friends can light a candle as a loving gesture for their loved one. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Jake Opperman; her parents, Ruth Johnston and Ralph Johnston; her brothers, Fred and Richard; and her children, Jane Edgington (Roger) of Medina, OH, Rick Opperman, Jean Owen (Ron) of Woodbridge, VA and Ron Opperman (Beth). She was also cherished by 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 1 great, great grandchild.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 17th 2021 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Coldren-Crates Funeral Home (205 West Sandusky Street Findlay, Ohio 45840). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 17th 2021 at 1:30 PM at the same location. Due to COVID 19, the family will be practicing social distancing and requests all guests to please wear a mask while in attendance.
