He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Shirley and Doris Shirley; and his brother Robert J. Shirley. He is survived by: his children, Troy (Christina), Jason (Jesy) and Jarred Shirley; his grandchildren, Brooke, Kalyn Moore, Audrie and Ian Shirley; and his sisters, Violet Moses (James) and Barbara Allman (Joe). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
