It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcia L. Braun of Medina, Ohio, who passed away on December 26, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marcia L. Braun to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Smith and Lyndell Smith (Edmonds); and her son Paul Braun. She is survived by: her son Joel Braun (Jamie Black); her daughter-in-law Lisa Braun; her grandchildren, Madison Braun (Lexi Treeger), Riley Braun (Owen Zeiter) and Andrew Braun; and her brother David Smith.

“I visit the memory care unit of Brookdale Medina South several times a week, and I always greeted Marcia because I had Joel in class years ago and recognized the last name. Every time I entered, she would smile and acknowledge me. On December 25th, she told me about Beth Schnabel, her accomplishments, and their church. When I told her I was a St. Matthew Lutheran member, she giggled and said, "Well, at least you are a Lutheran"--humorous, well-spoken, and vibrant to the end! Dorothy Ulich”
