He is survived by: his wife Janice; his daughters, Jennifer Dieringer (Zak), Laura Gehlmann (Michael), Susan Steirer (Amie Pico) and Meredith Gunzler (Doug); his grandchildren, Christian, Elaina Gehlmann, Paige and Jacob Gunzler; and his siblings, Mary Fran Steirer and Joe Steirer (Terry).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Waite Funeral Homes - Medina Chapel (765 N Court St, Medina, OH 44256). A Mass will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (606 E Washington St, Medina, OH 44256). The inurnment will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Spring Grove Cemetery (785 E Washington St, Medina, OH 44256).
