Monica Catherine Salter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Monica Catherine Salter of Medina, Ohio, born in Elyria, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 9, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Salter and Loretta Salter; her nieces, Judy Lynn Salter and Aimee Lynn Pando; and her pets, Snickers and Tippy.
She is survived by: her siblings, Chuck (Judy), John (Susan), Mark Salter (Debbie), Rita Yost (Randy) and Lori Deamon; and her friend Rosemary. She is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews, as well as many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Waite Funeral Home (765 N Court St, Medina, OH 44256). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (606 E Washington St, Medina, OH 44256). A burial was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at the Ridge Hill Memorial Park (44805 N Ridge Rd, Amherst, OH 44001).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Monica's name to Miracle City Hospice or Medina County ASPCA.
