He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter J. Karder and Lucille A. Karder (Heilinger). He is survived by: his wife Kathy Karder (Augustus); his sisters, Rose McDaniel (Karder) and Lucille Sinnima (Karder); his children, Vicki Vaughan (Karder), Shelly Graziano (Karder) and Jeffrey Karder; his stepdaughters, Jill Weston (Vokaty) and Karen Kress (Vokaty); and his grandchildren, Wesley, Alyssa, Kevin, Halle, Samuel, Lucy, Olivia, Julia, Ava and Connor.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Peter's honor.
