She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph; and her parents, George Bernardy and Margaret Bernardy. She is survived by: her children, Laura Fisher (Thomas), Lisa Beedlow (Jason), David (Gladys), Michael (Jennifer) and Brian (Aimee); her brother Richard Bernardy (Madge); her son Joseph Christopher (Theresa); and her great grandchildren, Ava and Presley. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Rita has asked for Masses for Fr. Nick Urassa from Tanzania and for her soul, or direct donations to St. Ambrose Church, 929 Pearl Rd., Brunswick, OH 44212.
