He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Schmidt and Mildred Schmidt (Gatzke). He is survived by: his wife Jacquelyne Schmidt (Hammel); his children, Mike Schmidt (Karen), Carrie Beard (Steve) and Bob Schmidt, Jr. (Tracy); his grandchildren, Joe Beard, Nicole Beard, Jackson Schmidt and Allie Schmidt; and his brother Ken Schmidt (Dianne).
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Waite Funeral Home (765 N Court St, Medina, OH 44256). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Bob's memory to: Tunnel to Towers, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, New York 10306 or to St. Jude Children's Hospital/Research Center, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
