He is survived by: his daughter Roberta; his wife Emily; his daughter Virginia Carey (Marvin); his stepdaughter Katrina Gerwin (Mike Henson); his granddaughter Anneheleen Gerwin-Henson; his nephew Darnell White (Lavonya); and his pet Rosie. He is also survived by daughter from his previous marriage and two grandsons.
