He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat"; his children, Vicki Stetz (John), Heidi Rumancik (John), Chris Bauer (Joyce), Gretchen Baumhover (Dutch) and Megan Gilmore (Chad); his grandchildren, Tracy, Molly, Gabrielle, Brandon, Brittany, Zachary, Taylor, Grace, Jeffrey, Sophia, Alexis, Isabella, Natalya, Elliana and Jake; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Chloe, Zander, Jack, Jace, Evelyn, Brady, Avery, Aubrey, Luella and Owen; his brother Phillip Bauer; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Bauer and Jeanne Bauer.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Waite Funeral Home (765 N Court St, Medina, OH 44256). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (606 E Washington St, Medina, OH 44256).
