She was predeceased by: her parents, James Robert and Shirley Dee Lawson (Ward); her husband Lawrence Carpenter; her son Jimmy John Carpenter; and her brother Corwin Lawson.
She is survived by: her son Christopher Carpenter; her brother Ward Lawson (Paula); her grandchildren, Naomi Jones, Rebecca Paige Phillips (Zariah Marie-Lynn) and Thomas Ray Phillips (Makayla Rae); and her great grandchild River Axle Phillips. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice.
