He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Greene and Esther Greene (Taynor); his wife Esther Greene (Chambers); his daughter Rhonda Harrison; his sister Betty Martin; and his son-in-law Kenneth Jackson.

He is survived by: his children, Carol Jackson, Laura Quinton, Rodney Greene (Angela) and Marvin Greene (Joanne). He is also survived by six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
