It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carol J. Steele of Mentor on the Lake, Ohio, who passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Staudt and Hazel Staudt. She is survived by: her husband Scott Steele; her children, Julie Steele, Eric Steele, Jennifer Eberly and Brian Steele; her grandchildren, Alexander, Hunter (McKenzie), Taylor, Isobel, Ian and Isaac; her great grandchild Silas; and her siblings, Mary (Creighton), Charles (Sandy) and David (Anya). She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Monreal Srnick Funerals & Cremations (35400 Curtis Blvd, Eastlake, OH 44095). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
She also found joy participating in her Parkinson's support group, and loved her work with Mary Kay Cosmetics, empowering others to feel appreciated.
