With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Michael George of Mentor on the Lake, Ohio, born in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Michael left this world on May 23, 2025 at the age of 73, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his mother Dolores George; and his nephew Jonathan Martineau. He is survived by: his wife Donna George; his daughters, Amy George and Deanna George; his sister Laura Bennett Carter; his nieces, Nicole Martineau, Corinne Schaffer, Victoria Wood and Kimberly Gilson; and his nephew Richard Martineau.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home (6330 Center St, Mentor, OH 44060). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Bede the Venerable Church (9114 Lakeshore Blvd, Mentor, OH 44060).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Bede The Venerable Church or the Lake County Humane Society in Michael's memory.
