We announce the death of Alan J. Schura of Mentor, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on October 13, 2026, at the age of 76. Alan will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Schura; his daughters, Christine Olenik (John), Stephanie Pelton (Steve) and Lynn Schura; his grandchildren, John, Lauren, Nicholas, Olivia and Sophia; and his siblings, Robert Schura (Judy), Timothy Schura (Cecelia) and MaryAnn Vargo. He is also survived by many extended family members, friends.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the St. John Vianney Church (7575 Bellflower Rd, Mentor, OH 44060).
