He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Cummins (Miller). He is survived by: his wife Rose Cummins (McCauley); his sons, Carl L. Cummins, III (Kelly) and Jeromey W. Cummins (Nicole); his grandchildren, Hunter, Harper, Hannah Rose, Nicholas and Joseph Cummins; his father Carl L. Cummins, Sr.; and his brother Randy Cummins (Shelly).

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
