It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Kidd of Mentor, Ohio, born in Euclid, Ohio, who passed away on May 28, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Kidd and Jean Kidd; and his brothers, Carlton, Gerald and William.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley A. Kidd (Hlabse); his daughter Jennifer A Dammeyer (Kirk); his granddaughters, Captain Camden C. Dammeyer and Quinn G. Dammeyer; his nephew Daniel Kidd; and his siblings, Patricia Varga and Richard Kidd. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Brickman Bros. Funeral Home (37433 Euclid Ave, Willoughby, OH 44094). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. John Vianney Church (7575 Bellflower Rd, Mentor, OH 44060).
