With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Ernest Glaser of Mentor, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 9, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though David Ernest may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest Glaser and Thelma Glaser; and his wife Ann Glaser of Mentor. He is survived by : his children, Michael, Dawn and Paul; his grandchildren, Bea Wimbish and Beckee Sopher; and his stepgrandchild Caitlyn Brill (Kyle).

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Jay B. Smith Funeral Home (777 Oakwood Dr, Fenton, MO 63026). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 1st 2024 at the Mentor Community Cemetery.
