He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Barner and Dorothy Barner. He is survived by: his wife Thomasine Barner; his stepson Nathan Zavorek (Sara); his grandchildren, Ryan, Jacoby and Leah; and his siblings, Albert Barner III (Margaret), Michael Barner and Dory Granchi (Joe). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. John Vianney Church (7575 Bellflower Rd, Mentor, OH 44060).
