Edward C. Gordon Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward C. Gordon of Mentor, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Edward farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Edward is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodney and Mary; his wife Marian E. Brethour; and his siblings, Beverly Kurth and Rodney Gene Gordon.

He is survived by: his children, Edward Gordon (Sue) of Perry, Diane Fetch (Robert) of Grand River, Vicki Brennan (Patrick) of Concord and Cindy Day (Michael) of Eastlake; and his close friend Phyllis Gavel. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
