With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eileen R. Holtzhauser in Mentor, Ohio, who passed away on June 18, 2025 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband James R. Holtzhauser; and her siblings, Leon Distler (Bertha), Vernard Distler (Grace) and Robert Distler (Eileen). She is survived by: her children, John Holtzhauser (Carolyn), Joseph Holtzhauser (Veronique), Andrew Holtzhauser (Toni), Teresa Hyla (John) and Jane Smerke (Frank).
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Magdalene Church (32114 Vine St, Willowick, OH 44095).
In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Mary Magdalene Parish would be appreciated.
