He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Helen; his children, Fred J. (Carol), Elaine M. Kubiak (Larry O'Dell), Pat A. Grace (Stephen), Leigh A. Nagel and Matthew T.; and his siblings, Margaret Docherty and Carl (Louise).
