He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Hobart Caplinger and Bertha Caplinger (Black); and his brother Donald Caplinger. He is survived by: his children, Mary Klann, Angela Roberts, Aimee Simpson (Stephen) and Timothy "Scott" Caplinger; and his sister Marilyn Bonnel (Chuck). He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Mentor Cemetery (6881 Hopkins Rd, Mentor, OH 44060).
