She was predeceased by: her husband J. Doyle Adkins; her parents, Golden Green and Sylvie Green; and her siblings, Estle Green (Ann), Imogene Adkins (Dennis), Raymond Green and Leon "Jeep" Green (Roberta).

She is survived by: her children, Allen Adkins (Tonya), Steve Adkins (Karen), Greg Adkins (Gina), Sandra Adkins-Pertz and Cheryl Adkins-Kistner; her grandchildren, Gary Humberson Jr., Kelly Humberson, Vincent Adkins, Chris Quinn, Kevyn Kistner, Danielle Kistner, Craig Adkins, Bryan Adkins, Ashley Adkins, Cameron Adkins and Sammie Jo Adkins; and her great grandchildren, Sarah Humberson, Jeffrey Humberson, Tori Samardija, Bella Samardija, Ava Samardija, Addison Quinn, Eli Quinn, Alaina Bartel, Zander Adkins, Aubrey Adkins and Cora Adkins. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
