She was predeceased by: her parents, Roman B. Backensto and Evelyn E. Backensto Fink; and her siblings, Clayton, Russel Backensto and Mary Ann Wetzel.
She is survived by: her children, David C. Hindley (Cathy) of Newton Falls, OH, Alan C. Hindley (Sandy) of Mentor, Susan R. Haynal of Avon Lake, OH and Eric S. Hindley of Mentor. She is also survived by grandchildren and nine wonderful great-grandchildren.
