She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Cox and Diana Cox (Quesenberry); her husband Luther S. Jones Sr.; her children, Luther Jones Jr., William Jones and Susan Kilpatrick; and her siblings, JD Cox, Clyde Cox, Betty Rose, Louise Jenkins and Ora Jean Lance.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Buchan and David Jones. She is also survived by grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christian Life Church (8250 Garfield Rd, Mentor, OH 44060). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Layuna's honor to Christian Life Church.
