She was predeceased by: her parents, Rita Ashby (Bukowski) and Harry Otis Ashby; and her sister-in-law Lyn Ashby. She is survived by: her children, Ed Malkamaki (Elaine), Jason Malkamaki (Shannon) and Suzanne Malkamaki; her siblings, Mike Ashby, Steve Ashby, John Ashby, Paul Ashby and Joann Ashby; and her grandchildren, Mary Malkamaki, Brionna Crutchfield, Tyler Malkamaki, Erin Crutchfield, Cameron Fernald, Jacob Malkamaki, Seth Malkamaki and Cole Malkamaki. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the CJD Foundation in honor of MT's memory.
